Bay Adelaide Centre
Bay Adelaide Centre This is pretty exciting as I was around the first time when the last slowdown in the 90s stopped this one dead and the infamous stump a six story elevator core was all that stood here for 15 years. Some said itwould never be built...but they were wrong! Officially opened in 2009, this is the first LEED Gold Standard to be built in the Toronto Financial District. 51 floors with 1.2 million square feet of office space and 40,000 sqaure feet of retail area and a food court, it connects to the PATH underground walkway. The anchor tenant is KPMG, and other tenants include Fasken Martineau, Heenan Blaikie, And Fasken Martineau. Additional phases two and three are to be a mix of office and hotel/residential. Significant operating cost reductions are expected as a result of it's LEED Gold Certification optimizing energy, light and water to maximize efficiency. View Larger Map
